Shooting
A man was shot and killed this morning outside the Sportsman’s Royal Manor weekly motel on Boulder Highway.
Metro Police responded to reports of gunshots about 5:25 a.m. at the motel at 5600 Boulder Highway, near Tropicana Avenue. Several people had been seen in the area, but when officers arrived, only the victim’s body remained, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
No details were available about what led up to the shooting. Homicide detectives are searching for the people reported in the area before the shooting.
