A vacant two-story house caught fire Sunday night in the western Las Vegas Valley.
The Clark County Fire Department responded about 9 p.m. to the fire at 9071 College Green Court, near Pebble Road and Durango Drive. Firefighters discovered smoke coming from the second story of the house and were able to extinguish the fire in 10 minutes, officials said.
Neighbors reported that the home was vacant, but squatters had been living there, officials said. No one was injured in the fire.
The fire caused about $25,000 damage. The cause is under investigation.
