Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval signs bills in his office at the Capitol with intergovernmental affairs manager Tyler Klimas, center, and Chief of Staff Gerald Gardner during the final hours of the 77th legislative session in Carson City, Monday, June 3, 2013.

Gov. Brian Sandoval has a new press secretary succeeding Mary-Sarah Kinner, who moved to Sacramento to take a new job.

Tyler Klimas, who formerly worked as an executive in the governor's office, will take over his new job Thursday, Sandoval said. Klimas now works for the state tourism agency.

He previously was manager of international affairs in the governor's office. He worked on Sandoval's election campaign and has a bachelor's degree in political science from UNLV.
