Blast from den Dekker gives 51s a walkoff victory over Memphis

Matt den Dekker hit a game-ending three-run home run in the bottom of the 10th inning today for the Las Vegas 51s, giving them an 8-5 come-from-behind victory against Memphis at Cashman Field.

After Memphis scored three runs in the top of the ninth to take a late lead, Las Vegas scored twice in its half of the ninth to even the game at five and force extra innings. Cesar Puello and den Dekker scored together on a wild pitch and throwing error by the Memphis catcher in the ninth for Las Vegas (46-32).

The leadoff hitter den Dekker had a monster game for Las Vegas, going 4 for 6 with three runs and three RBIs. He had half of the 51s' hits.

Reliever Chase Bradford, a local product out of Silverado High, pitched a scoreless 10th for Las Vegas to earn his first Triple-A victory.

The series ends at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
