A man was critically injured in a shooting late Wednesday at his home, Metro Police said.
Lt. Ted Glaude said the man was standing in the doorway of his home near Nellis Boulevard and Wyoming Avenue about 11:45 p.m. when he was shot in the torso. The victim apparently knew the shooter, though police have not yet identified a suspect, Glaude said.
The injured man was rushed to University Medical Center, where he remained in critical condition, officials said.
No other details were available early Thursday.
