Fatal Crash
A motorcyclist was killed after he crashed and was hit by a truck in North Las Vegas this morning, police said.
The motorcyclist was traveling west on Craig Road about 7 a.m. when he went down at the intersection of Losee Road, North Las Vegas Police Officer Aaron Patty said. He was then hit by the truck, which was traveling north on Losee, Patty said.
The motorcyclist was taken to University Medical Center, where he later died, Patty said.
Police were investigating the circumstances of the accident.
Lanes near the site were shut down, and officers will likely be on scene for a few hours, Patty said.
