A man was found dead this morning in a Henderson outdoor municipal pool, according to Henderson Police.
An employee at the Wells Outdoor Swimming Pool found the man's body about 7 a.m. while preparing to open the facility and called police and the fire department, city of Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said. The pool, located near Boulder Highway and East Merlayne Drive, was closed at the time.
Police do not suspect foul play and are not conducting an investigation, Richards said.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the man’s name and cause of death.
