Portion of northbound US 95 closed after crash kills 2 drivers

The northbound lanes of U.S. 95 were closed after a head-on collision on U.S 95 near Corn Creek Road left two men dead this morning.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremie Elliot, a silver Acura driving southbound in a northbound lane collided head-on with a Subaru at 7:13 a.m.

Both drivers, whose identities have not yet been released, were pronounced dead at the scene.

The highway is closed at State Route 157. Traffic is being diverted to State Route 157, around Mount Charleston, while the crash is under investigation, Elliot said.
