Plan ahead for these road projects in the coming week in the Las Vegas Valley

Here’s a look at some of the roadwork or road closings you might encounter in the coming week across the Las Vegas Valley:

SHORT-TERM ROAD PROJECTS

Nevada Department of Transportation

U.S. 95 from Rainbow Boulevard to Torrey Pines Drive: Northbound right two lanes closed beginning at 9 p.m. Saturday for graffiti removal. Rainbow Boulevard on ramp to southbound U.S. 95 will also close. End date: 5 a.m. Sunday.

Southbound Centennial Center Boulevard on ramp to U.S. 95: closed starting at 9 p.m. Sunday as part of part of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project. End date: 12 a.m., Monday.

Southbound Oso Blanca Road on ramp to U.S. 95: closed starting at 12 a.m. Monday as part of part of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project. End date: 5 a.m. Monday.

Southbound U.S. 95 off ramp to Ann Road: closed starting at 1 a.m. Monday as part of part of the U.S. 95 Northwest Corridor Improvements Project. End date: 5 a.m. Monday.

U.S. 95 northbound from the Railroad Pass Interchange to milepost 58 (just before the Wagonwheel Interchange): Left lane closed from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. beginning Tuesday for guardrail repairs. End date: Wednesday.

Eastbound Tropicana Avenue (State Route 593) from Sandhill Road to just past Rollingwood Drive: far right lane restrictions starting at 6 a.m. Tuesday for pavement and drainage repairs. Projected end date: 4 p.m. Friday.

ONGOING ROAD PROJECTS

Interstate 15

F Street Connection Phase 3 — Interstate 15 between Washington Avenue and U.S. 95: I-15 on-ramp at D Street is closed; southbound lanes on I-15 have been moved to the northbound side and limited to two lanes in both directions. Projected end date: summer.

Clark County

Sahara Avenue Bridge over Desert Rose Golf Course: closed as part of the Las Vegas Wash and Flamingo Wash improvements. Projected end date: September.

Nellis Boulevard south of Sahara Avenue to pedestrian bridge of Flamingo Arroyo Trail: one lane will be closed due to construction on the Las Vegas Wash project. Projected end date: early September.

Lamb Boulevard between Owens Avenue and Las Vegas Boulevard: various lanes will be closed intermittently for a street and sidewalk improvement project. Projected end date: mid-September.

Desert Inn Road between McLeod Drive and Mojave Road: various lanes will be closed for a street and sidewalk improvement project. Projected end date: early September.

Las Vegas

Main Street between Carson Avenue and U.S. 95: east half of the road will be closed to traffic for reconstruction of drainage facilities, sidewalk and roadway Two-way traffic will be on the west side of Main Street with just one travel lane in each direction.Projected end date:2015.

Martin Luther King Boulevard at Mineral Avenue: street disruption for paving; expect delays. Projected end date: July 19.

Rancho Drive between Sahara Avenue and U.S. 95: intermittent lane closures while fiber optic cables, traffic signal upgrades and digital message signs are installed to improve congestion. Work will be completed from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. in busy sections of the road and from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in residential sections. Projected end date: fall 2014.

F Street between Bonanza Road and D Street: closed for bridge construction. Projected end date: Aug. 1.

Lake Mead Boulevard between Jones Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: July 21.

Barbuda Road at Catalonia Drive: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: July 21.

Bonanza Road at Rancho Drive: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: July 20.

Hills Center Drive between Village Center Circle and Lake Mead Boulevard: street disruption for landscaping; expect delays. Projected end date: indefinite.

Vegas Drive between Rancho Drive and Jones Boulevard: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: Aug. 30.

Fourth Street between Carson Avenue and Fremont Street: street disruption for sewer repairs; expect delays. Projected end date: Monday.

Fremont Street east of 14th Street and West of Charleston Boulevard: street disruption; expect traffic delays. Projected end date: Sunday.

Bonneville Avenue between Martin Luther King Boulevard and Town Center Drive: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: July 19.

Lone Mountain Road west of Rainbow Boulevard: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: Saturday.

Racel Street between Grazing Grass Street and El Capitan Way: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: Oct. 28.

Torrey Pines Drive at Lake Mead Boulevard and at Cheyenne Avenue: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: July 19.

Henderson

Grand Teton Drive between Fort Apache and Oso Blanca roads: street disruption; expect delays. Projected end date: July 30.

North Las Vegas

Craig Road between Revere Street and North Fifth Street: intermittent lane closures for median landscaping. Projected end date: mid-July.

Carey Avenue and Revere Street: intermittent street disruptions while a roundabout is removed and replaced with traffic lights. Projected end date: fall.

Losee Road and Lone Mountain Road: street disruptions starting next week while a pedestrian bridge is being built. Projected end date: fall.
