Area of shooting
A shooting Thursday night in North Las Vegas left one teen dead and another injured.
A North Las Vegas Police spokesman said the shooting, which killed an 18-year-old male and injured a 14-year-old female, took place about 11:05 p.m. in the 4800 block of Via Maria Court, a residential cul-de-sac near West Lone Mountain Road and North Commerce Street. The area is just north of Craig Ranch Regional Park.
Police said the girl was taken to University Medical Center with injuries that were not life-threatening.
No suspects have been identified, police said.
