LAS VEGAS (AP) — Las Vegas is set to welcome the first Western U.S. Brooklyn Bowl venue in March.
The concert, nightclub, bar, bowling alley and restaurant amalgam is one of the cornerstones of the new 300,000-square-foot Linq project.
The new Brooklyn Bowl is designed with a 2,000-seat performance hall intended to host DJs, nightly concerts, and crowds watching football on Sundays.
The venue's eclectic opening lineup, announced Tuesday, includes Elvis Costello, The Roots, The Avett Brothers and Chance the Rapper.
Casino giant Caesars Entertainment Corp. is promoting the nearly-completed Linq project as a way to lure younger patrons to Sin City.
The Brooklyn Bowl brand originated in Williamsburg, the New York hipster haven. It recently expanded with a new location in London.
Brooklyn Bowl's first Las Vegas concert is scheduled for March 8.
