Four separate car accidents were causing delays this morning in the northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 15 near D Street.
The Nevada Highway Patrol responded about 6:15 a.m. to the series of minor car collisions.
On I-15 North, a single-vehicle accident and a two-vehicle collision caused traffic to back up from D Street to Charleston Avenue, NHP Trooper Loy Hixson said. One person suffered a minor injury in the single-vehicle crash.
On I-15 South, a three-car collision and a five-car wreck were blocking the left two lanes near D Street, Hixson said. The crash was causing delays from Lake Mead Parkway to D Street.
