The Clark County School Board unanimously approved a $129,096 contract for the School District's new chief financial officer.
Last month, Clark County Schools Superintendent Pat Skorkowsky nominated Deputy CFO Jim McIntosh to replace Jeff Weiler, who resigned last fall to become the executive director of the Retirement Administration Agency in Fairfax County, Va.
On Thursday, the School Board confirmed McIntosh's new position overseeing the district's $2.1 billion general fund budget. McIntosh's one-year contract automatically renews every year until he resigns or receives a termination notice.
Prior to becoming interim CFO, McIntosh was deputy CFO and accounting director for the Clark County School District. McIntosh has more than a decade of experience with the School District’s finances.
