NEW YORK (AP) — Police are on the scene of a crash involving a New York City bus and a truck in Greenwich (GREN'-ich) Village. They say there are numerous injuries.
Citing the New York Fire Department, WABC-TV reports that one person is dead and at least five have been injured. It says the collision sent both vehicles onto the sidewalk, into scaffolding and into a building.
The crash happened on 14th Street and 7th Avenue around 5:30 a.m.
It wasn't immediately known how many people were on the bus.
