A truck hit a moped and then drove away from the accident today at Russell Road and Boulder Highway, according to Metro Police.
Metro responded about 8:45 a.m. to investigate the hit-and-run accident, according to a Metro tweet.
The moped driver suffered a minor injury and was not transported to a hospital, Metro spokeswoman Laura Meltzer said.
The intersection was closed briefly, but it has since reopened to traffic.
