Restaurant fire causes $70,000 in damage

A restaurant caught fire Saturday night in a strip mall on Spring Mountain Road and Rainbow Boulevard.

Clark County Fire responded about 11:50 p.m. to reports of a fire at Lee’s Korean BBQ, 6820 Spring Mountain Road. Firefighters arrived to find flames filling the restaurant, Clark County Chief John Steinbeck said.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the fire and saved both businesses next to the restaurant. No one was injured in the incident.

The fire caused about $70,000 in damage. The cause is under investigation, Steinbeck said.
