Mobile home fire

An unattended candle led to a fire that displaced four adults and caused $12,000 in damage to a North Las Vegas mobile home this morning, fire officials said.

Fire crews responded about 8:45 a.m. to a single-wide mobile home in the 2500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard North, near Civic Center Drive.

Officials found heavy smoke and flames coming from a back bedroom and hallway, according to a North Las Vegas Fire Department news release.

No injuries were reported, and the fire was contained in about 10 minutes.

Four adults who were home when the fire broke out have been displaced and are being helped by the American Red Cross of Southern Nevada.
