A pipe bomb originally reporter to police as a suspicious package has been safely detonated in the Henderson area.
Henderson Police received a call around noon about a suspicious package on Eastgate Road, in a commercial and industrial area.
Metro's Armor response unit was called to investigate, and they determined it was a pipe bomb.
No one was injured as the device was safely exploded.
Eastgate Road near Auto Show Drive and Lake Mead Boulevard is blocked off while police investigate.
