God would have been a Democrat

God was all about caring for the poor, elderly and needy. Not so for the GOP, which caters to the rich at the expense of everyone else.

Examples include restricting funding for Meals on Wheels and Head Start; fighting a minimum wage increase, which would allow many people to escape poverty; being against equal pay for women; wanting to make drastic changes to Social Security and Medicare; denying women free medical service through Planned Parenthood, which saves lives; and fighting reasonable immigration polices.

The GOP preaches the gospel but doesn’t practice it. God would have been a Democrat, as would Pope Francis, who has always supported the poor, elderly and needy.
