A man accused of sexually assaulting children in his own family threatened to break a boy’s legs if he told anyone what happened, according to a criminal complaint in Las Vegas Township Justice Court.

The suspect, Christopher Sena, faces 23 felony counts of child abuse, sexual assault, lewdness, incest and dissuading a witness from reporting a crime.

His wife, Deborah Sena, and ex-wife, Terrie Sena, face counts including sexual assault of a minor and lewdness.

Police said evidence indicates that all three individuals were involved in the sexual assault of at least eight children over a period of 12 years. Some of the alleged victims are now teenagers, police said.

All three suspects appeared in court this week.

Deborah Sena, 50, and Terrie Sena, 43, a substitute teacher, bowed their heads Monday as Justice Court Judge Nancy Oesterle read off the charges, calling them “extremely shocking.”

Christopher Sena, 48, appeared before Justice Court Judge Janiece Marshall today. Prosecutors said investigators are still reviewing evidence that could lead to additional charges against him.

Christopher Sena was arrested in September after Deborah Sena and two other people, including one of the alleged victims, approached a family attorney with information about what was happening, police said.

The attorney notified Metro, as required by law, and a SWAT team took Christopher Sena into custody at his home in the 6000 block of Yellowstone Drive, police said.

Evidence collected at the house, which included hours of recordings showing sexual assaults, led to the arrest of Deborah Sena and Terrie Sena on Thursday.

All three are being held at the Clark County Detention Center.
