A Las Vegas man accused of beating and killing a man with a rock behind a convenience store was arrested Tuesday, Metro Police said.

Coleman Vaoga, 33, was booked into the Clark County Detention Center and faces a charge of murder with a deadly weapon, police said in a statement Wednesday.

Police said they believe Vaoga was involved in a fight with 51-year-old Jeffrey Harry Clabaugh on Saturday evening in the 4300 block of North Nellis Boulevard, near Craig Road.

An investigation indicated Clabaugh might have taken something from Vaoga's vehicle while Vaoga was inside the store, Metro said in a news release.

Clabaugh was apparently beaten with a rock, and his body was found in a bush in a desert area behind the store, police said.

A woman who was seen in surveillance video images with the suspect is not believed to be a suspect, police said.
