President Barack Obama is a good man who certainly doesn’t deserve the smearing he is getting from his critics.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower is the model Obama uses for governing. It is ironic we have to go to the Democratic Party to find a president who thinks like Eisenhower.
Eisenhower was liberal and progressive, the opposite of Republicans in Congress today. His strategy of spending government money to jump-start small business and industry worked. The middle class was probably the biggest it has ever been during Ike’s administration. Today it is down to the smallest it has ever been.
Conservative billionaires and their puppets in Congress have treated government like it is the enemy. The result has been disaster.
Remember, this is a democracy; the government is us. If we can get rid of the billionaires and their puppets in 2016, we might be able to get the middle class growing again.
