Four vehicles catch fire at Venetian parking garage

Fire crews responded to reports of four vehicles on fire at the Venetian parking garage this evening, the Clark County Fire Department said.

Officials received a report about 8:50 p.m. of the fires on the seventh level of the garage, Assistant Chief Larry Haydu said.

The garage was evacuated, and crews extinguished the fires by about 9 p.m., he said.

No injuries were reported.

It may take some time for the smoke to clear out of the garage due to a lack of wind, Haydu said.

Investigators will examine the scene to determine the cause of the fires, he said.
