A wreck involving a tractor-trailer and two passenger vehicles was slowing traffic on Interstate 15 this morning.

The accident happened about 7:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes just north of Owens Avenue, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. Police were not sure what caused the accident. The truck was blocking multiple lanes.

A passenger from one of the other vehicles was transported to a hospital with minor injuries, officials said.

As of 8 a.m., all but the far left lane was blocked, officials said. The rest of the lanes should be cleared by about 9 a.m., Trooper Loy Hixson said.
