A car hit a baby stroller this morning as a pedestrian was pushing a child near a busy Las Vegas intersection, Metro Police said.
The child was not injured, but the wheels of the stroller were damaged, police said. The car, which a witness described as a burgundy sedan, left the scene, police said.
The incident happened about 11:45 a.m. near the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Decatur Boulevard. Metro officers were on the scene investigating.
Metro officers located the driver and issued a citation, although the type of citation was not immediately known.
