It’s no wonder police are on edge

Thank goodness our county sheriff has a cool head. He was aware of all the gun-nuts in the area, and coolness ruled. There would have been a very large mess at the moocher’s ranch, not unlike the one in Missouri.

We had two officers ambushed at a pizza shop while having lunch. Then had a “good guy” blown away trying to help.

There is so much disrespect for government authority, you don’t wonder why the police are so on edge. Odds are the next car they stop has a weapon in it. The next person they stop will be armed. The next domestic will result in a death. The next disturbance at a bar will turn up a weapon in use by someone.

Whatever action a police officer takes, they always want to have the odds on their side. You learn that very quickly
