A police sergeant from Glendale, Calif., was arrested earlier this month after he allegedly solicited sex from an undercover Las Vegas police officer, according to a Metro Police arrest report.

Vahak Mardikian, 48, was arrested on Aug. 8 after he agreed to pay the undercover officer $250 for sexual acts, according to the arrest report.

At 2 a.m., Mardikian came across the officer, who was posing as a prostitute at the Flamingo, according to an arrest report.

The two went to a bar, where they talked about the undercover officer’s purported experiences as a prostitute, the arrest report said. Mardikian asked the officer if she was a cop, to which she replied, “no,” the report said.

Mardikian then began to make arrangements to engage in sexual intercourse and agreed to meet at the undercover officer’s apartment, the report said. He was arrested by nearby undercover detectives, police said.

Mardikian was booked at the Clark County Detention Center on one count of soliciting prostitution, police said.
