I am weary of gun violence in this country. As a gun owner, I endorse the expansion of background checks to deny abusers from obtaining guns as well as ammunition.
I am also against open carry. Even gun stores and shows do not allow you to have a loaded weapon on their premises.
For example, Cabela’s has a person at its entrance who will check every gun coming into the store to ensure that it is not loaded and is not capable of being loaded once in the store.
