Metro Police are investigating an officer-involved shooting in the 7600 block of Calico Fields Street, near Fort Apache and Farm roads in the northwest valley.
Police said a suspect was shot after officers responded about 1 p.m. to a disturbance call. He has been taken to University Medical Center's trauma center.
No officers were shot during the encounter, according to Metro.
