The Las Vegas 51s scored two runs today in the first inning against visiting Albuquerque, but surrendered eight unanswered runs to close the game in an 8-2 defeat.
Allan Dykstra singled with two outs in the first inning for Las Vegas and scored on Brandon Allen’s single. Andrew Brown scored the second run on a wild pitch.
The 51s were limited to six singles and no extra base hits. Allen went 2 for 4.
The 51s open a series at 4:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Iowa Cubs.
