Las Vegas 51s catcher Taylor Teagarden hit a home run today in a three-run ninth inning, but the 51s still lost to host Sacramento, 7-5.
Sacramento scored twice in the first inning and five times in the seventh, using a 3 for 4 performance with four RBIs from outfielder Nick Buss.
Teagarden had three hits for Las Vegas, and Cesar Puello added two hits and two RBIs.
The series continues tomorrow in Sacramento.
