Brian Greenspun’s Sunday column “Seeing the facts in a world of death” clearly outlines why Israel is defending its people and territory. For those who deride Israel, one must ask, “What would you do if someone attacks your home and threatens the health and well-being of your family?
Front-page pictures of the destruction in Gaza and headlines with numbers of Palestinian casualties may sell newspapers, but they don’t represent the facts that require Israel’s response.
