A free legal assistance clinic will be available on Thursday to help senior citizens with estate planning and other elder law issues.
The event, titled “Serving Seniors,” will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the East Las Vegas Community Center at 250 N. Eastern Avenue, a press release said.
“This is a great opportunity for senior citizens to receive valuable information to help protect themselves,” Kristin M. Tyler, an attorney at Gordon Silver and chair of the event, said in a statement.
The Young Lawyers Section of the State Bar of Nevada, Nevada Legal Services and Southern Nevada Senior Law Program are hosting the event and local attorneys will be in attendance, according to the release.
