Six-run inning helps 51s down El Paso

The Las Vegas 51s scored six runs in the fifth inning today in an 11-4 victory against visiting El Paso at Cashman Field.

Bobby Abreu and Daniel Muno had home runs in the scoring outburst, and Allan Dykstra homered in the sixth inning to help the 51s (13-5) pull even in the four-game series. Last night, El Paso won the opener, 8-5.

Muno went 4 for 4 with four RBIs to lead Las Vegas, Matt den Dekker had two runs and two hits, and Wilmer Flores scored three runs

Jacob deGrom (2-0) earned the win for the 51s, striking out six batters in five innings and surrendering three runs.

The series continues at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
