The High Roller now has a page in the “Guinness World Records” book as the world’s tallest observation wheel.

At 550 feet tall, the wheel is bigger than London Eye and Singapore Flyer. The record is based on the total diameter of the wheel, which must be a permanent structure.

The team behind the wheel had to submit a package of information about the High Roller’s design and construction and a report from an independent surveyor verifying the diameter to Guinness officials.

The High Roller – the centerpiece of Caesars Entertainment’s Linq project – opened to the public March 31.
