Hillary Clinton, former secretary of state and presumed favorite for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, will visit Las Vegas on Thursday during a tour of three West Coast states.

Clinton will join Apple Inc. co-founder Steve Wozniak as a guest speaker at a scrap-metal convention at Mandalay Bay.

Clinton started her week of paid speeches on Tuesday in San Francisco, where she visited a conference of marketing executives. She also visited Portland on Tuesday and spoke critically of the partisanship that divides Washington.

Clinton's Thursday speech will be at the annual convention hosted by the Institute of Scrap Metal Recycling Industries Inc., a trade group based in Washington, D.C., that represents 1,600 companies.
