Shooting
A man was shot in the chest late Wednesday at an apartment complex near Clark High School.
Metro Police Lt. Bruce Miyama said the victim, believed to be 19, was shot after stepping out of a second-story apartment at the Sandpebble Village Apartments in the 4400 block of Sirius Avenue to smoke a cigarette downstairs.
Metro Police had not arrested any suspects as of about 10:45 p.m.
Though his condition was not known late Wednesday, Miyama said it was likely "very serious, being that he was shot in the chest."
No other details about the shooting were available late Wednesday.
