A semitrailer rolled over and leaked diesel fuel onto Interstate 15 today after a collision with another semitrailer.
One person was transported to University Medical Center with a minor injury, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol. The crash did not cause any major traffic delays, officials said.
The Highway Patrol responded about 4:20 a.m. to the collision on northbound I-15 near Sloan Road. The overturned truck spilled about 25 gallons of diesel fuel, Trooper Jeremie Elliott said.
The Nevada Department of Transportation cleaned up the spill, and the truck was moved to the side of the highway until it could be towed, Elliott said.
Troopers are investigating what caused the collision.
