Metro officer jailed on charges of theft, fraud

A Metro Police officer was arrested Wednesday on theft and fraud charges.

Officer Joshua Logan, 29, was booked at the Clark County Detention Center and charged with felony fraudulent use of a credit card and misdemeanor theft, department spokesman Jose Hernandez said.

Logan is a five-year veteran of the police department and is assigned to the department's Bolden Area Command district.

He has been placed on unpaid administrative leave pending the outcome of his criminal trial, Hernandez said.

No further details about Logan's arrest were provided late Wednesday.
