A 52-year-old former controller for a prominent residential high-rise builder in the Las Vegas area has been sentenced to 37 months in federal prison for wire fraud conspiracy.
U.S. Attorney Daniel Bogden says Hope Ippoliti also was sentenced Friday to three years' supervised release and $5.6 million in restitution to Turnberry Associates and its affiliates.
She's due to report to prison Jan. 14.
Ippoliti and co-defendant Rocco Lazazzaro were named last year in a 26-count indictment alleging they stole from the company behind the four-tower Turnberry Place luxury condominium complex just off the Las Vegas Strip.
Turnberry also owned or developed the Residences at MGM, Town Square shopping center and the Stirling Club in Las Vegas.
Lazazzaro previously pleaded guilty and was sentenced in August to 51 months in prison.
