Halloween Photo Contest: Cutest Pet. Traveler the Target dog… who also wants to be a biker. Submitted by Dave Van Gorder.

Halloween is creeping up on us. With all of the ghosts, goblins, zombies and other terrifying creatures lurking on our TVs and computer screens, we're ready for something to make us laugh … or make us say, "Awww, so cute!" Cue the Sun's Halloween photo contest.

We'd like to showcase your best Halloween photos from over the years. They can be great costumes, spooky decorations, dressed-up kids or pets, or whatever else reminds you of Halloween.

You can submit them through our Facebook page or by emailing them to [email protected]. We'll upload the best to the Sun website to show off and a few will appear in the print paper before or on Halloween.

We will accept submissions through 11:59 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 27. Our team of Halloween experts will choose our favorite photos and put them up for a vote starting Monday, Oct. 28. The photo with the most votes by midnight on Halloween will win four passes for Pole Position Raceway.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. This contest is not open to any employees who are associated with Greenspun Media Group or Niche Media Publications. Contest open only to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia. Must be 21 years or older to enter. Winners will be notified by email or telephone and must confirm before 5 p.m. on Nov. 8, 2013. Prize will be available for pick up at Greenspun Media Group offices. Emails will only be used to notify the winner. Personal information will not be shared with third/parties and/or partners. Prize restrictions may apply. Void where prohibited by law.
