Robbery
Metro Police are searching for two men who robbed a downtown wedding chapel this evening.
The robbery happened just before 8 p.m. at the Stained Glass Wedding Chapel, 1005 S. Third St., Lt. Dan Zehnder said.
Two masked men entered the chapel and confronted a woman working there, Zehnder said. As they began ransacking the chapel, the woman escaped safely and called for police.
One suspect was carrying a firearm, he said.
Police initially thought the men were inside when they arrived, but the business was empty when officers entered, Zehnder said.
