Shooting
Metro Police are investigating a double shooting with possible gang ties that occurred this evening in West Las Vegas.
The shooting happened about 6:55 p.m. in the 1200 block of Ivy Lane, near H Street and Washington Avenue, Lt. Dan Zehnder said.
One male shot in the head is in critical condition at University Medical Center, he said. Another man was shot in the hip and transported himself to the hospital.
The suspect or suspects fled the scene on foot before police arrived, Zehnder said. Detectives from Metro’s gang crimes section are investigating.
