Firefighters quickly extinguish blaze at vacant house

House fire

Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire that erupted just outside a vacant house early today.

Flames broke out about 6:12 a.m. on the patio of the house in the 3800 block of San Bernardino Avenue, Las Vegas Fire & Rescue spokesman Tim Szymanski said.

The blaze was put out before it could reach inside the house. No one was hurt.

Investigators have not determined what sparked the flames.
