Fire
A pickup truck caught fire this morning on Interstate 15 near where it splits from U.S. 93, northeast of Las Vegas, prompting the closure of the highway.
The Nevada Highway Patrol and Clark County Fire Department responded about 9 a.m. to the fire. Northbound lanes were closed for more than 30 minutes, Trooper Loy Hixson said.
All lanes have since been reopened. No one was injured.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
