A second suspect has been identified in the 2011 kidnapping and sexual assault of a tourist on the Strip.
Matthew Goin, 25, has not been arrested and is considered a fugitive, Metro Police said.
Goin and Snider Holmes, 17, allegedly snatched a woman who was looking for her friends after leaving the Wynn in September 2011 and sexually assaulted her in a parking lot.
Metro Police identified Goin as a suspect after Holmes was indicted in connection with the crime on Wednesday. Holmes was charged as an adult with first-degree kidnapping, battery with intent to commit sexual assault, sexual assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit kidnapping.
District Court Judge Linda Bell set bail at $500,000.
Holmes’ attorney Kevin Speed said after the teen’s indictment Wednesday that Goin threatened the woman with a knife.
Metro Police have released a photograph and sketch of Goin. Anyone with information about him is urged to call Metro Police at (702) 828-3421. Anonymous tipsters can call Crime stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or visit crimestoppersofnv.com.
