The death of elderly woman found in a northwest Las Vegas house on Tuesday has been ruled a homicide by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
The woman, identified as 75-year-old Jean Main, died of a gunshot wound to the head, the Coroner’s Office said.
Main was found about 11 a.m. Tuesday at a house in the 8000 block of Green Pasture Avenue, near Lone Mountain Road and Durango Drive.
Police said today they are looking for anybody with knowledge about a dark blue sedan seen in the area early Tuesday morning.
Main's purse was also taken from the home, police said. Metro released a photo of what the purse looked like when it was new.
