Metro Police have released surveillance photos in hopes of getting the public's help in finding a man suspected of robbing two businesses last week in southwestern Las Vegas.

The man robbed the first business about 12:19 a.m. May 7 in the area of South Durango Drive and Russell Road, police said. He entered the store, brought an item to the counter, pulled out a folding knife and demanded money, police said. The employee complied and the man fled, police said.

Police think the same man robbed another business two hours later at Fort Apache Road and Twain Avenue. He was last seen fleeing south on Fort Apache.

Police did not identify either of the businesses.

Police described him as being a 30- to 35-year-old Asian man who is about 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 and weighed 150 to 160 pounds.

The man was last seen wearing a black NY baseball cap, a gray hooded sweatshirt with orange and white writing on the front, tan shorts, black socks, white sneakers and a wedding ring, police said.
