The Las Vegas 51s scored three runs in the bottom of the fourth and survived a late push in a 4-3 victory over the Albuquerque Isotopes on Sunday.
Juan Centeno went 1 for 3 with two RBIs. Omar Quintanilla went 1 for 3 with a pair of runs scored.
No 51s player had more than one hit as part of a seven-hit effort.
Albuquerque made things interesting in the top of the ninth inning.
With one out, Osvaldo Martinez drew a walk from pitcher Sean Henn. Alfredo Amezaga followed up with a double to left field, putting runners on second and third.
Tony Gwynn Jr. brought the duo home with a single to center field, cutting the 51s' lead to 4-3.
Henn settled down, striking out the last two batters to secure the 51s' victory.
Collin McHugh got the win, going seven innings. He allowed one run on six hits and two walks. He also struck out two as he picked up his third win of the season.
The series continues at 7:05 p.m. Monday.
