Stabbing at downtown hotel under investigation

A man was stabbed Wednesday night at a Best Western hotel in downtown Las Vegas, Metro Police officials said.

Police received reports of the stabbing about 7:50 p.m. at the Best Western Main Street Inn, 1000 Main St., near Washington Avenue. The victim was transported to University Medical Center Trauma in critical condition.

Police said the suspect ran before officers arrived.

  2. Regardless of the knife's assault weapon status the important lesson learned here is that until we put a fence around LV and NLV all the criminals will be able to more easily escape arrest and prosecution.
